School kid
Wow, things are busy right now, with building a house, work, the kids growing fast. It's hard to keep up with the blogging!
Charlotte has been accepted in to the local primary school right down the road from where we are building our new home. Great! She starts next year and is very excited! In other news, we introduced a 'tick chart' where CJ will get a 'tick' for eating her dinner and getting dressed on her own without anyone shouting at her.. it's working fairly well. She gets a little gift as a reward for doing so well. I'm not sure if it's too early (she's only 3 and a half), but I've started to teach her to read, she has shown an interest so I figure why not. I asked her one night if she wanted me to point to the words as I read her book to her, she said yes, so... I guess she's keen!
